Exhibition [People - City - Sea]
”The Story of Urban Architecture Embracing the Sea“ by Architect Park Hye-ri
The exhibition titled [People-City-Sea] will be held from May 8th to 12th for 5 days at KNOV 3 in Insa-dong KOTE. It‘s the first solo exhibition of architect Park Hye-ri, representing Adaptives. Park Hye-ri is a certified architect and urban planner in the Netherlands who has been working on design projects that transcend cities and architecture. As an Associate Partner at KCAP Architects & Planners in Rotterdam, she handles master plan projects for urban design both domestically and internationally. Additionally, she engages in projects beyond conventional scales, designing small facilities for rural villages as an architect. [People-City-Sea] showcases her design and research work on cities meeting the sea, as indicated by the title. It aims to discuss the spaces between them and their impact on people. Through personal observations and research on Rotterdam and various European port cities while in the Netherlands, as well as her contributions to harbor redevelopment projects and the Oido Port Fishing Village New Deal Project at Adaptvies, she shares her reflections on cities coexisting with the sea through media exhibitions. The opening reception will be held on May 9th (Thursday) from 5 PM, and the exhibition will run until May 12th (Sunday) until 6 PM. Admission is free.
