This exhibition introduces the paintings by artist Park Jin-ho based on the unpublished poetry collection ”Jangja Sijip“ (tentative title) by his father late Park Je-cheon, a representative poet of modern Korean poetry who passed away last year.
Park, Je-cheon made his debut in 1966 in ”Hyundae Munhak“ recommended by poet Shin Seok-cho. Starting with his first poetry collection ”Jangja Sijip“ in 1975, he began his full-fledged activities, and until his passing in 2023, through continuous creative activities, he published 17 poetry collections, 8 anthologies, and various books on poetry creation.
Artist Park Jin-ho attempted to express Shimgyung '心景'- the landscape of the mind depicted in ”Jangja Sijip“ in the form of curved lines.
On Gallery KNOV (3F), the paintings and videos inspired by ”Jangja Sijip“ will be displayed..
In the underground exhibition hall (B1, Tokkigul), videos featuring Park Je-cheon’s appearance and interviews during his lifetime will be screened.
On the rooftop(5F), videos filmed after Park Je-cheon‘s passing, showcasing his former residence and office space, will be screened.
