Youth Mind Healing Project: Now it's spring wherever you go!
Dancers Kim Nam-sik and Dance Tourup-Da, who have met with teenagers in various spaces while focusing on healing the youth's mind, and the Youth Mind Healing Project 2 with Duri Hana International School will be performing at the rooftop of KOTE's main building in Insa-dong at 6 p.m. on May 27, 2023 (Sat).
This performance is a modern dance movement that expresses the violent change of emotions of North Korean defectors through movement, encouraging healthy self-expression, inducing healthy relationships through interactions with others, and instilling self-esteem and courage. It is a work designed to help everyone become self-reliant.
"Now it's Spring Wherever You Go", based on American writer Richard Bark's novel "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" (1970), the story of the protagonist takes us along his growing up life, dreams, motivations and feelings that guide him through that period. We hope that you will join us in cheering and supporting this performances, through the 12 workshops that the participants have thoroughly put together, based on their own experiences and freedom of expression.
