On the last weekend of this year, Saturday, December 28th, a special performance will be held at Joseon Salon on the 1st floor of KOTE, a multifaceted cultural space where East and West meet, tucked away in the alleyways of Insadong!

What fills your heart as the year draws to a close—perhaps the bittersweet farewell to the passing year or the excitement for the new one ahead? This performance aims to reflect on the "light" and "darkness" that have shaped our time and relationships over the past year.

A nude performance combining poetry, live ambient sound, and drawing! Experience a cinematic performance with the voice of a professional voice actor, and bid farewell to 2024.

Special Aspects of the Performance:

• A narrative-driven nude performance, with a professional voice actor delivering the story.
• Male and female performers embody the characters of the story, conveying energy and emotion with their bodies.
• 11 carefully selected theme songs from over 200 candidate tracks are used, allowing you to immerse in the story purely by listening to the music.
• A professional DJ will curate the music, and the final segment will be accompanied by live ambient sound.
• Throughout the performance, the performers will strike poses suitable for drawing, allowing artists to create while being immersed in the narrative through intermittent narration.
• After the intermission, a "meditation guide" will assist in deepening your experience with a soothing voice-over.
• At the end of the story, the two performers will strike poses for 10 minutes each, twice, totaling 20 minutes of live drawing time. Artists can complete two drawings during this period.
• The final segment features live drawing by Jang Eun-jeong, the creator of the “Nonverbal Play” exhibition that ran at Joseon Salon from November to December. Whether you're new to drawing or just wish to enjoy the ambient sounds, feel free to engage in drawing or simply relax.

After the performance, those who wish to join may have dinner starting at 7:30 PM. A special buffet menu, curated by the head chef of Joseon Salon, will be served.

Additional Information:

• Drawing tools will be available, but you’re encouraged to bring your own supplies.
• Pencils, colored pencils, and pens will be provided.
• A limited number of sketchbooks will be available for purchase on-site.
• Since the performance includes nudity, please refrain from using smartphones during the event. Failure to comply may result in immediate removal.
• The ticket price includes finger food and a beverage or beer.
• After the performance, you can opt for the special buffet meal for an additional 30,000 KRW per person (limited to the first 15 people).
